Journal pagesPeople love nurses, but they wouldn’t want to be one. Our campaign ... aims to challenge popular perceptions and enhance the profession’s image.

You among the most trusted people in the world.However,a lot of people say “thank God you are there, but I would not want to be a nurse ”… You have to change that!' These were the words of advice from Christopher Bunting, a marketing expert, to a room packed with nurses from across the globe at last year’s meeting of the International Council of Nurses (ICN)in Geneva. And it was those words that inspired our campaign –Nursing the Future ... We want to make 2004 a year for nursing.'
